During the past weeks 54 EU transport attaches, an Italian Deputy Minister and both the Italian and Spanish ambassadors in Norway have visited the Follo Line Project and AGJV.

The Follo Line Project is the largest Norwegian TBM-project in history and the excavated tunnel will be the longest Scandinavian railway tunnel with its 20 km. Such a large project attains international attention.

As a part of a three-day long official visit to Norway, 54 EU Transport Attachés and representatives from EU visited the Follo Line Project Friday 1 July. The site visit included a tour to see mounting of the first tunnel boring machine, and a tour around the concrete segment factory and construction site. In addition, they got a project presentation and visited the Visitor Room.

On Tuesday 14 June, the brand new Follo Line Visitor Room was officially opened. During the day, both the Spanish and Italian ambassadors attended the inauguration, which also included a guided tour to the construction site. On Wednesday the 22 June the Italian Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs Sen. Benedetto Della Vedova visited the construction site, as a part of an official visit to Norway.

AGJV, a joint venture between the Spanish company Acciona and Italian Ghella is excavating 18,5 km of the 20 km long tunnel.
